CIMMYT and IRRI are working with National partners to address the primary problems of

• Maize (Water scarcity, Low nutritive value, and poor seed quality), and
• Rice (Environmental stresses, postharvest losses). 
• Wheat (Rust, Insufficient pasta, residue management and late wheat planting),
